Demulsifying and grease and oil separating equipment for wastewater

Abstract

A demulsifying and oil-separating unit for wastewater containing fats and oils, consisting of a prismatic vertical body and a bacterial bed located within an inverted pyramid-shaped hopper with a polygonal base. A honeycomb grid is positioned over the bacterial bed. This design improves the unit's operability and efficiency by enabling the complete separation, extraction, and discharge of fats and oils from the influent, resulting in a fat- and oil-free effluent. The unit includes an influent delivery pipe running straight through the vertical body, passing through the bacterial bed, via the honeycomb grid, and reaching the bottom of the hopper at the same angle as the hopper's design.
