Herbicide composition based on monoterpenoids and diterpenoids.

Abstract

A herbicidal composition may include approximately 40 wt% to approximately 90 wt% of monocyclic monoterpenoids; approximately 0.1 wt% to approximately 6.0 wt% of an aqueous solution of at least one of an alkali metal hydroxide, an alkaline earth metal hydroxide, an alkali metal acetate, and an alkaline earth metal acetate, having a composition greater than or equal to approximately 40 wt% of at least one of the alkali metal hydroxide, the alkaline earth metal hydroxide, the alkali metal acetate, and the alkaline earth metal acetate, and a remainder of the aqueous solution being water; and a remainder of the herbicidal composition including diterpenoids, wherein the herbicidal composition is a gel.
