Abstract
An inductive culture process for the production of photolyase-rich extract from microalgae is presented, comprising the following stages: initial inoculation of Arthrospira spp.; growth phase; induction of photolyase activity; biomass harvesting; generation of photolyase-rich extract; and in vitro evaluation of photolyase functionality. Additionally, an optimized culture medium for the industrial-scale growth of Arthrospira spp. cyanobacteria is presented.
