System and method for intelligent optimized bidding in battery energy storage systems

Abstract

A system comprising multiple energy storage nodes and at least one processor configured to perform programmed operations and acquire system component status data, wherein status data for at least multiple battery modules and at least one inverter are measured and stored. The acquired status data is analyzed to determine if a data value exceeds a predicted threshold provided in a pre-bid information algorithm. When the acquired status data value exceeds a predicted threshold, a cost function model is applied to at least one of the battery modules, the inverter, and the system's operating efficiency. An optimized algorithm gain value for the next energy bid is adjusted based on the acquired status data and the cost degradation value.
