Abstract

A wear member assembly includes a wear member with a cavity at a rear end and an opening on a first side, said opening having a collar-locking gear bore. A retaining assembly for the wear member may include a collar and a pin. The collar may be disposed within the opening of the wear member and may include a collar lock on an outer surface of the collar that engages with the opening to lock the collar in place. The pin may be disposed within the opening of the collar.
