Rotomolding mixes that include recycled polyethylene

Abstract

This document describes rotomolding compositions and processes for manufacturing them. The rotomolding composition, according to the methods described herein, comprises a polyethylene, a recycled polyethylene composition, and an ethylene-based elastomer. It has been demonstrated that the specific types and quantities of each composition allow the incorporation of recycled polyethylene compositions into processes such as rotomolding, while maintaining or improving hardness and other properties.
