Module, modular unit and display for transporting and displaying products, methods

Abstract

A module for a modular transport and display unit for transporting products to a store and then displaying the products therein. The module comprises a shelf adapted to receive the products and at least one reconfigurable support structure. The at least one reconfigurable support structure is adapted to deploy and support one or more additional modules which, when supported together with the initial module, collectively form the modular transport and display unit. The at least one reconfigurable support structure is also adapted to be stored within the shelf so that each module, and therefore the modular unit, can be directly disassembled by a store operator for return to a logistics center without damaging any components.
