Direct air capture procedure with physisorbents

Abstract

A device for recovering carbon dioxide from a gaseous medium is described, comprising at least one preconditioning unit, at least one drying unit comprising at least four modules, and at least one CO2 unit, wherein at least one module of the drying unit is a desorption module, at least two modules of the drying unit are heat transfer modules, and at least one module of the drying unit is an adsorption module. A procedure for recovering carbon dioxide and the use of the device and the procedure are also described.
