Accessory for diagnostic hysteroscope

Abstract

A diagnostic hysteroscope accessory is suitable for creating an external operating channel to a diagnostic hysteroscope. The accessory has an elongated element (1) with a convex cross-sectional profile configured for sliding coupling with a diagnostic hysteroscope sheath (H). The elongated element (1) includes a distal section (10) suitable for providing a passage (14) for an obturator or surgical instrument, and a central section (16) forming a conduit suitable for continuing said passage (14) through a distal port (21) and a proximal port (20). A connecting assembly (3) is also provided, capable of ensuring the continuity of passage of said conduit, and equipped, on the side opposite said conduit, with at least two tubular tracts (24, 25) angled to each other, and a clamping device (4) equipped with removable connecting means for attaching the elongated element (1) to the body of the diagnostic hysteroscope.
