An interoperable biometric authentication system comprising: a vascular biometric reader; a biometric template generation module; a non-reversible tokenization engine; a dynamic consent module; an API interoperability layer; a contextual authorization engine; a transactional execution module; and a traceable log of events in which the captured vascular biometric data is transformed into a non-reversible biometric token.
