Abstract
The present invention relates to a nebulizer cannon with helical centrifugal atomizers for reducing harmful particle emissions and / or mitigating fires to improve air quality by reducing emissions harmful to humans and for fire mitigation through the development of the injection section responsible for a long-range nebulizing stream (liquid and air). This injection system employs helical centrifugal atomizers (the use of these atomizers is not recorded in previous applications), which have been designed and numerically simulated using Ansys Fluent software, which is a valuable validation tool. Another characteristic of these atomizers is the ease of manufacturing their removable parts, taking into account the channel dimensions according to the helical angle (psi).Furthermore, efforts were made to ensure that the nebulization process uses minimal liquid, as this would pose a significant problem if liquid were not readily available. To complement the invention, a rotating system (similar to a monitor) and a firing angle adjustment system were added; both are mechanical, practical, and safe for the operator.
