Battery cell pack and method of preparing the same

Abstract

A battery cell pack and a method for preparing it are provided, and it pertains to the field of secondary battery technologies. The method includes: placing a cell electrode group on a Mylar film, with the bottom surface of the cell electrode group adhered to the Mylar film, and performing a first hot-press fixation to bond the bottom surface of the cell electrode group to the Mylar film; folding the Mylar film to cover the bottom surface, a top surface, and a side surface of the cell electrode group, and performing a second hot-press fixation to bond the top surface of the cell electrode group to the Mylar film; and folding the Mylar film to cover another side surface of the cell electrode group, and fixing the Mylar film, to complete the preparation of the battery cell pack.This disclosure addresses problems such as Mylar film misalignment, bulging, scraping during the insertion of an electrode group into a housing, and unsatisfactory welding caused by Mylar film misalignment after the Mylar film is bonded and secured to a battery electrode group.
