Manual tool for applying grease to a thread

Abstract

A hand tool for applying grease to a thread, intended for the controlled lubrication of external or internal threads by means of a threading operation. The tool comprises a threaded main body (1) that defines an internal thread (9), an internal housing (8) accessible through a top opening (10), and an internal opening (13) that establishes direct communication between the housing (8) and the threaded region. Inside the housing (8) is a cartridge or cartridge body (4) with an internal receptacle containing grease (6), an internal cap (14) attached to the cartridge body (4) by welding or adhesive and positioned in contact with the grease (6), and an external cap (5) threaded onto the main body (1) and provided with an actuating fitting (11).During screwing, the threads interact with a portion of the cartridge (4) exposed by the internal opening (13), causing it to break and releasing the grease (6) onto the threaded surface.
