Method and machine for installing irrigation lines and paving in leaching heaps

Abstract

Machine for simultaneously installing irrigation lines and the cover layer used to irrigate leaching heaps. The machine comprises reels for irrigation lines or hoses, a roller for carrying the cover layer, and mechanisms that draw material from the leaching heap through the lateral ends of a machine duct and direct it towards holes at different points along the duct. This process distributes the heap material onto the cover layer being installed next to the drip emitters, creating a load on the cover layer and preventing it from being lifted or blown away by the wind.
