Inductor and method for manufacturing the same

Abstract

The present invention discloses an inductor and a method for making the same. The method for making the inductor comprises the following steps: S1, making a magnetic core, using granulated magnetic powder to press into a high-density block, then cutting into a magnetic core structure, and sintering to be dense; the magnetic core comprises a middle column and two lobes; S2, coil winding: winding the coil on the middle column, making the cross section of the coil parallel to the long and high plane of the inductor after winding, and the two lead ends of the coil are located on both sides of the middle column and on the same plane; S3, compression molding: filling a layer of the granulated magnetic powder at the bottom of the mold for pre-compression and compaction, and then implanting the magnetic core with the coil wound in step S2 into the mold; after implantation, filling the mold with the granulated magnetic powder for compression molding; S4, heat treatment of the semi-finished product; S5, end electrode manufacturing. The inductor and the method for making the same of the present invention have a higher self-resonant frequency on the basis of obtaining a large inductance inductor.
