Composite heating system and heating method for hybrid powertrain power battery

Abstract

The present invention relates to a composite heating system for a hybrid powertrain power battery, which includes an engine cooling large circulation loop, a motor cooling circulation loop, a power battery cooling circulation loop, a PTC heating circulation loop, a heat storage heating circulation loop and a heat exchanger. The system can effectively heat the power battery, improve the safety and power of the power battery, and extend the life of the power battery. The present invention also discloses a composite heating method for a hybrid powertrain power battery. When the battery needs to be heated, the heat exchanger is heated according to the PTC heating strategy, the engine coolant heating strategy, the motor coolant heating strategy and the heat storage heating strategy. The heat exchanger quickly heats the power battery to a safe temperature or above according to the power battery heating strategy. This solution solves the problem of low battery temperature rise rate and high system energy consumption during battery heating under different driving conditions.
