Abstract

The present invention relates to the technical field of brakes, and in particular to a pull rod floating drum brake, comprising a chassis, wherein the chassis is provided with a left brake shoe, a right brake shoe, an adjustment mechanism and a spreading mechanism. The invention has the following beneficial effects: 1. The chassis is made of pressed steel plates, which has high production efficiency, low cost, lightness and practicality; 2. The left brake shoe or the right brake shoe adopts a floating connection, which is convenient for maintenance and quick replacement; 3. The adjustment mechanism is adopted, and when the brake pad is worn, the lower end spacing of the left brake shoe and the right brake shoe can be adjusted, so that when the brake is applied, the contact surface between the brake pad and the wheel hub is larger, which enhances the braking effect on the one hand and increases the service life of the brake pad on the other hand; 4. The pull rod mechanism is adopted as the power for spreading the left brake shoe and the right brake shoe, instead of the existing oil cylinder mechanism, so that it can adapt to more severe environments, such as high temperature, and there is no oil circuit bursting to cause brake failure.
