A horizontal self-locking connection node for modular steel structure and construction method thereof

Abstract

The present invention discloses a horizontal self-locking connection node and construction method for modular steel structures. The connection node includes a floor connection assembly and an interlocking clamp, wherein the floor connection assembly includes a short beam, a beam connection plate, a T-shaped connector, and a high-strength bolt. The horizontal self-locking connection node of the modular steel structure of the present invention can effectively enhance the horizontal connection between module units, improve the cross-sectional stiffness and cross-sectional bearing capacity at the joints of the structural plates, ensure the reliability of force transmission of the modular building in the plane of the floor, and solve the problem that the modular steel structure is too deformed in the plane and the rigidity is insufficient in the plane of the floor due to the discontinuity of the floor under the existing module corner column position connection method.
