Abstract

The present invention relates to a head butt welding machine for steel cylinder production, comprising a machine base, a head clamping and fixing device, a welding device and a double-station workbench; the head clamping and fixing device is installed at the upper end of the machine base, comprising a machine head part and a tail top rod part, and the head clamping and fixing position is between the two; the welding device is a pulse MAG welding device, and its welding action end is aligned with the butt joint of the upper and lower heads arranged in the head clamping and fixing position; the double-station workbench is a movable workbench in the front and rear directions, and is arranged as a whole between the upper part of the machine base and the lower part of the head clamping and fixing position, and a head support frame that can move up and down is arranged at the rear of the double-station workbench to form a loading station, and a steel cylinder support frame that can move up and down is arranged at the front of the double-station workbench to form a bottle dropping station, and a bottle pushing mechanism for pushing the steel cylinder to the chain conveyor is also arranged at the unloading station. The present invention realizes automatic loading, automatic welding, automatic bottle unloading and automatic pushing and outputting of bottle bodies.
