Vehicle radio interference sensor

Abstract

An interference sensor device is disclosed. The interference sensor device includes a first electrically conductive plate and a second electrically conductive plate aligned in parallel with the first electrically conductive plate. A non-conductive substance is included between the first electrically conductive plate and the second electrically conductive plate. A band pass filter is coupled with the first electrically conductive plate and the second electrically conductive plate. The band pass filter includes a sensor coil. The interference sensor device includes a current transformer having a primary side and a secondary side. The primary side is coupled with the band pass filter and the secondary side is configured to be coupled with a cable. The current transformer has a high capacitive isolation.
