A sustained-release soluble microneedle delivery system for mite allergen-carrying microspheres

Abstract

The invention discloses a sustained-release soluble microneedle delivery system for carrying mite allergen microspheres, including a needle body and a backing, wherein the needle body includes mite allergen microspheres and a matrix material, wherein the matrix material is a mixture of methyl vinyl ether-maleic anhydride copolymer and polyethylene glycol, and the content ratio of methyl vinyl ether-maleic anhydride copolymer and polyethylene glycol is (2:1) to (1:1). The present invention selects the component types and content ratios of specific mite allergen microspheres, so that the obtained mite allergen sustained-release microspheres have excellent performance and can better load mite allergens; and by selecting specific matrix material component types and content ratios, and specific drug-loading ratios, the obtained mite allergen sustained-release soluble microneedles have excellent formability, mechanical strength and other properties, and greatly prolong the release time of the drug, and the therapeutic effect is better than that of non-sustained-release mite allergen soluble microneedles, which is conducive to reducing the frequency of mite allergen administration and increasing patient compliance.
