Chemical reaction heating / cooling effect verification experiment device and experiment method

Abstract

This invention relates to an experimental apparatus and method for verifying the heating / cooling effects of chemical reactions, comprising an insulated container, a water storage cylinder, and a pestle. The insulated container holds solid reactants and has a water injection hole for injecting water into it. The pestle compacts the solid reactants within the container. Simultaneously, the pestle creates space within the solid reactants for placing the water storage cylinder. The water storage cylinder is adapted to be placed within this space. A temperature sensor is installed inside the water storage cylinder. This invention is simple in structure and easy to use. Using this invention, the actual cooling or heating effects of chemical reactions on water can be investigated and verified. It can provide experimental support for bottom-freezing sampling or bottom-heating sampling of natural gas hydrates, and facilitates improvements to existing coring devices.
