Network Slicing Customer (NSC) Service ID and User Equipment (UE) Routing Selection Strategy for Network Slicing as a Service
By introducing NSC service ID and UE routing policies in 5G networks, the problem of ensuring user privacy and data traffic management in the NSaaS environment is solved, and flexible and efficient data traffic routing is achieved to meet the needs of diverse application.

Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a network slice client (NSC) service ID and user equipment (UE) routing policy for network slicing as a service. A network device or component such as an access node (AN) is operable to provide a request to obtain a network slice of a network slice as a service (NSaaS) to provide communication services for an end-user device on the network slice. In response to obtaining the network slice, a network slice client (NSC) service identity (ID) associated with the network slice may be determined and communication services may be provided for applications performed by the end-user device or user equipment (UE). The request may be processed at a network slice provider (NSP) component, where a network slice may be assigned to the NSC in response to the request of the NSC. The NSP also provides a user equipment (UE) routing policy (URSP) including a traffic descriptor to the NSC, the traffic descriptor including the NSC service ID.
