A cutting reducer for a horizontal axis mining machine

Abstract

The present invention discloses a cutting reducer of a horizontal axis excavator, which is mainly used for cutting parts of rapid excavation and recovery of corner coal in underground and open-pit mines; the cutting reducer is a horizontal axis split type, and is composed of two symmetrically arranged single reducers connected by left and right connecting flanges, the tooth profiles of the small bevel gear and the large bevel gear of the single reducer both adopt a straight tooth type, the side roller of the cutting reducer transmits torque through the square block of the output connecting seat, and the floating seal adopts a combined seal structure, and the floating seal seat adopts a detachable structure; the present invention allows the single-side components to be replaced separately after being damaged, thereby reducing the difficulty and cost of maintenance, reducing the difficulty of assembling and disassembling the side roller, and increasing the service life of the floating seal and the replacement efficiency of the floating seal seat.
