Method of manufacturing a device with an electronic module

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing an apparatus having an electronic module (1) with at least one electronic component (3) which emits heat during operation, for example a power electronics device for powering an electric motor of a drive device for a vehicle, wherein the power electronics device (3) is equipped with a cooling body (5) which is traversed by a coolant, the cooling body being connected in a cooling circuit, wherein a functional test (I) is carried out after the apparatus has been produced, the power electronics device (3) being energized during the functional test and the coolant being circulated in the cooling circuit for the purpose of heat dissipation from the power electronics device (3), and wherein the coolant is discharged from the cooling circuit after the functional test (I) has been completed. According to the invention, a heating process step (III) is carried out after the coolant is discharged (II), in which the cooling circuit is at least partially heated.
