Abstract

The present invention relates to a pouch-shaped battery cell configured to supplement an electrolyte solution depleted during charging and discharging of the pouch-shaped battery cell, thereby improving a lifespan characteristic of the pouch-shaped battery cell, wherein the pouch-shaped battery cell includes a battery case made of a laminate sheet, an electrode assembly accommodated in the battery case, an inner pouch located on an outer surface of the electrode assembly, the inner pouch accommodating therein the electrolyte solution for supplementation, and a perforation member configured to perforate the inner pouch to discharge the electrolyte solution for supplementation, wherein the perforation member is deformed to discharge the electrolyte solution for supplementation accommodated in the inner pouch when a pressure in the battery case increases.
