This application discloses a method and related apparatus for transferring virtual resources. The method involves displaying virtual resource links in a target group; then, in response to a triggering operation on the virtual resource links, displaying a virtual resource transfer record interface containing virtual resource transfer records corresponding to multiple group members; and further, in response to a triggering operation on a resource transfer control in the virtual resource transfer record interface, retrieving at least a portion of the virtual resources from at least one group member. This achieves a multi-step resource transfer process with updated virtual resource values. Because group members can interact with each other to update the resource transfer during the process, the activity level of information interaction based on virtual resources is improved.
