Rotating electric machine system

Abstract

A rotary electric machine system is provided. The rotary electric machine system (10) has a rotary electric machine (12), a housing (14) that houses the rotary electric machine (12), and a rotation parameter detector (140) that detects a rotation parameter of a rotary shaft (40) that constitutes the rotary electric machine. The rotary shaft has a first end portion and a second end portion, and a first bearing (92) and a second bearing (94) are respectively provided between the housing (14) and the first end portion and the second end portion. The first end portion includes a protruding tip (104) that protrudes to the outside of the housing through the first bearing. The rotation parameter detector is provided on the protruding tip. Accordingly, the rotation parameter can be detected with high accuracy.
