An injection molding machine management system SYS according to an embodiment includes a management device (2) and an injection molding machine (1) communicably connected to the management device (2) and performing at least one of transmission and reception of data between the management device (2), and in a case where there is a version mismatch between the management device (2) and the injection molding machine (1), performing at least one of notification of the version mismatch to a user and processing to release the version mismatch. Further, an injection molding machine (1) according to another embodiment includes a control device (700) and a driver (710) communicably connected to the control device (700) and performing at least one of transmission and reception of data between the control device (700), and in a case where there is a version mismatch between the control device (700) and the driver (710), performing at least one of notification of the version mismatch to a user and processing to release the version mismatch.
