Abstract

A vehicle control device capable of suppressing noise generated due to electric resonance when driving an electric motor is provided. The vehicle control device is mounted on a vehicle that outputs torque to a first wheel from a first drive source that is an electric motor, and includes a storage section that stores a first resonance map, and a control unit that calculates a first torque command value that indicates a value of torque output by the first drive source, and is capable of switching a control mode of the first drive source. In the first resonance map, one or more operation points at which resonance occurs in an operation region of the first drive source that is subjected to rectangular wave control are shown as first resonance points, and the control unit switches the control mode of the first drive source from rectangular wave control to sinusoidal wave control when a predicted movement target (K3) of an operation point (A) of the first drive source coincides with a first resonance point (X1).
