A test block for nondestructive testing process verification

Abstract

The present invention discloses a non-destructive testing process verification test block, which relates to the field of weld detection technology. A non-destructive testing process verification test block, the test block includes a first test block, a second test block and a third test block, the first test block is a rectangular block structure, the first test block is provided with a cylindrical through hole, the second test block is a cylindrical structure, used to simulate weld defects; and the second test block can be inserted into the inside of the cylindrical through hole, and can rotate circumferentially inside the cylindrical through hole, the third test block is a rectangular block structure, and the first test block and the third test block are detachably combined and connected. The present invention uses a combined test block, which can be applied to the sensitivity calibration and process verification of ultrasonic detection of welds of different thicknesses and different defect types through a variety of combination forms, effectively avoiding defect omissions caused by improper use of the detection process, and improving the effectiveness of the ultrasonic detection results and the defect detection rate.
