File storage method and system

Abstract

The application provides a file storage method and system. The method comprises the following steps: determining a target residual space in a disk space which meets a preset condition; and storing a target file in the target residual space; wherein the preset condition is that the size of the target residual space is greater than or equal to the file size of the target file. The system is used for executing the above method. The file storage method and system provided by the application reduce file fragments generated during file storage, realize continuous file storage, and improve storage performance.
