Abstract

This invention provides a video frame drop detection method, a video frame drop detection device, and a storage medium. The method includes: capturing a video played on a smart terminal using a shooting device; extracting ghost frames from the video; and determining a frame drop result for the smart terminal based on the ghost frames. This invention uses a shooting device to capture a video played on a smart terminal, then extracts ghost frames from the video, and determines whether the smart terminal is experiencing frame drops by judging the position of the ghost frames. This allows for adjustments to the mobile terminal settings based on detected frame drops to avoid them, thereby eliminating ghosting and improving video display smoothness.
