A text processing method and related equipment

Abstract

This application discloses a text processing method and related apparatus for improving sentence segmentation during text processing by considering the degree of contextual relevance. The method involves determining a first text, which includes multiple characters and first candidate segmentation points located between these characters; inputting the first text into a segmentation point determination model; processing the first text using the model to obtain a first segmentation probability, which indicates the degree of relevance between characters preceding and following the first candidate segmentation point; and processing the first candidate segmentation points in the first text based on the first segmentation probability to obtain the target text.
