Abstract

The application relates to an encoder, a chip, a high-speed serial transmission interface and electronic equipment, and belongs to the technical field of electronic circuits. The encoder is used for encoding an N-bit PRBS signal input in parallel into an N-bit pull-up driving signal in parallel and an N-bit pull-down driving signal in parallel and outputting the same, and N is an even number greater than or equal to 2. Since the encoder shown in the application can encode the N-bit PRBS signal input in parallel into the N-bit pull-up driving signal in parallel and the N-bit pull-down driving signal in parallel and output the same, the encoder can be located before a parallel-serial conversion circuit. Since the data rate of serial transmission is faster than that of parallel transmission, the encoder is located before the parallel-serial conversion circuit, the requirement of the encoder on a high-frequency clock can be greatly reduced, and the power consumption consumed on the clock is reduced.
