The method comprises the following steps: receiving a storage instruction for to-be-stored data, the to-be-stored data comprising a plurality of fields, and the plurality of fields comprising an encryption field; in response to the storage instruction, performing encryption processing on target data corresponding to the encryption field, obtaining encrypted encryption data and encryption information of the encryption field, the encryption information comprising the target data and the encrypted encryption data after the encryption processing; storing the encrypted encryption data into a database table, and storing the encryption information into a target container, wherein the database table and the target container are different. According to the application, information needing encryption can be flexibly encrypted based on the encryption field, all information contents in the database do not need to be encrypted, device resources needed in the encryption process are reduced, and the read-write speed of the computer equipment is improved.
