Abstract

A timepiece component and a timepiece capable of providing a timepiece component exhibiting a desired color tone with a simple structure. The timepiece component has: a base material; and a color tone adjusting layer provided on the base material, the color tone adjusting layer including a first oxide film, a first metal film, a protective film, and a second oxide film, the first oxide film being provided between the base material and the second oxide film, and the first metal film and the protective film being provided in this order from the first oxide film side between the first oxide film and the second oxide film.
