Abstract

This invention discloses a non-contact frictional damping measurement method and device for a wave energy experimental model. The method includes conducting numerical water tank multi-degree-of-freedom attenuation experiments and experimental water tank multi-degree-of-freedom attenuation experiments on the established wave energy experimental model, obtaining attenuation curves for each degree of freedom; calculating the damping value at the corresponding frequency based on the respective attenuation curves; and subtracting the damping value calculated from the numerical water tank attenuation curve from the damping value calculated from the experimental attenuation curve to obtain the mechanical frictional damping in the wave energy experimental model. This invention cleverly utilizes the difference between the multi-degree-of-freedom attenuation curves of the model in the numerical water tank and experimental water tank experiments, and obtains the frictional damping coefficient of the model experiment through theoretical analysis, providing data support for the final optimized design of the wave energy device.
