Method, system, storage medium and terminal for determining heterogeneity of carbonate reservoir

By combining production dynamic data and the arithmetic weighted average method, the monthly average oil production per meter of permeability and layer thickness is calculated, and cross plots are drawn. This solves the problems of singularity and error in the evaluation of heterogeneity of carbonate reservoirs, and provides an accurate method and system for evaluating heterogeneity, which can be applied to carbonate reservoirs in the Middle East.

Abstract

This invention belongs to the technical field of reservoir heterogeneity evaluation, and discloses a method, system, storage medium, and terminal for determining the heterogeneity of carbonate reservoirs. The method includes: quantitatively describing the production capacity of each layer based on the monthly average oil production per meter given by production dynamic data; dividing the production of multi-layer syndicated production wells using an arithmetic weighted average method to calculate the monthly average oil production per meter, thereby obtaining the monthly average oil production per meter for each layer; calculating relevant heterogeneity parameters; statistically analyzing the relationships between the coefficient of variation, surge coefficient, and range and the monthly average oil production per meter for each layer, and the relationships between these parameters and the variance of the dimensionless monthly average oil production per meter for each layer in a single well; drawing cross-plots to determine the classification criteria for inter-layer heterogeneity in carbonate reservoirs and clarify the type of heterogeneity between layers. This invention, combined with production dynamic data, enables more accurate evaluation results of intra-layer and inter-layer heterogeneity in carbonate reservoirs, and has been applied in the Halfaya oilfield in Iraq, Middle East.
