A method and device for rendering a guide band based on road elevation data

Abstract

The application relates to a guide strip rendering method and device based on road surface elevation data, which comprises the following steps: extracting road surface data from ground object data provided by a high-precision map, and cutting the road surface; extracting associated road surface data of a target guide strip from the cut road surface data; extracting road edge lines and elevation data of the associated road surface closest to the target guide strip from the associated road surface data; and reconstructing and rendering the target guide strip according to the road edge lines and the elevation data. The application can better improve the visual perception, make the rendered high-precision map more realistic, more layered and closer to the actual road condition.
