Abstract

The present invention relates to a wheel roller for making plate-type asphalt concrete specimens, which belongs to the technical field of highway engineering. It solves the problems in the prior art that the plate-type asphalt concrete specimens prepared by the wheel roller method lack a kneading effect and aggregate crushing and damaged edges and corners appear on the surface of the specimens. The present invention comprises a base, a guide rail assembly, a test mold assembly, a wheel roller assembly and a bracket, wherein the guide rail assembly and the bracket are arranged on the base, the test mold assembly is arranged on the guide rail assembly, the wheel roller assembly is arranged on the test mold assembly, and the wheel roller assembly and the bracket are connected. The present invention can be applied to test mold assemblies of various specifications to make plate-type asphalt concrete specimens of various sizes and specifications, and can indirectly form a kneading effect on the asphalt concrete mixture, so that the asphalt concrete mixture is quickly stabilized and forms a dense structure, thereby ensuring that the texture structure of the specimen surface can reflect the actual situation on site, making the anti-skid performance test results more scientific and accurate, and the surface of the asphalt concrete specimen does not need secondary treatment after compaction.
