Abstract

A stator core of a rotary electric machine, which is formed by laminating a plurality of thin-plate steel sheets with an adhesive to form a core back and teeth, is composed of a first stator core coated with the adhesive between the plurality of thin-plate steel sheets in a first region involving the core back and the teeth, and a second stator core coated with the adhesive between the plurality of thin-plate steel sheets in a second region smaller in area than the first region, the first stator core being disposed at at least one end in a lamination direction of the thin-plate steel sheets in the stator core.
