Abstract

The present invention discloses a fall prevention device for aerial work tools, which relates to the technical field of safety tools, and comprises: a shell, a rope locking device, a fixing ring and a rope; the shell comprises an upper cover and a lower cover; the rope locking device comprises a button, an upper gear and a lower gear; the upper cover is provided with a first opening, the upper gear is embedded in the first opening, the lower gear is located below the upper gear, the teeth of the upper gear are meshed with the teeth of the lower gear, and a guide column is provided below the lower gear; the fixing ring is located inside the shell, a perforated plate is provided inside the fixing ring, and the perforated plate is connected to the guide column; the perforated plate is provided with a second opening, a support spring is connected below the lower gear, and the support spring is installed on the inner surface of the lower cover through the second opening; one end of the rope is connected to the fixing ring and surrounds the outer surface of the fixing ring; the other end of the rope extends to the outside of the shell through the upper opening of the shell and is connected to the locking member.
