A genset testing system and method

Abstract

The present disclosure provides a generator set testing system and method, the system comprising: a master load device configured to receive an electric energy signal from a generator set and perform power testing on the generator set based on the electric energy signal of the generator set, wherein the master load device comprises an electric energy input interface, an actuator, a fin-shaped electric energy absorber, and a cooling part; the electric energy input interface is configured to receive the electric energy signal of the generator set; the actuator is configured to control the power of the fin-shaped electric energy absorber based on the electric energy signal of the generator set to adjust the output power of the generator set according to the power of the fin-shaped electric energy absorber, so as to test the output power of the generator set; the cooling part is configured to cool the fin-shaped electric energy absorber when the master load device is running; a heat insulation plate is arranged between the actuator and the fin-shaped electric energy absorber.
