A polycarboxylic acid, a polyethylene polyamine and a catalyst are reacted in a reaction kettle to obtain an intermediate A, then the intermediate A is sequentially subjected to addition reaction with propylene oxide and ethylene oxide to obtain an intermediate B, and then the intermediate B is reacted with tetraethyl orthosilicate to obtain the acid-bath dispersant. The acid-bath dispersant prepared by the application has high dispersion efficiency, good water solubility and stability, and will not be precipitated in a strong acid environment, and can be used in the acid bath for a long time.
