Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a processing method and device for a stack, the method comprising: obtaining stack information of a stack to be analyzed, the stack to be analyzed being a stack in which an application crashes at runtime; determining a hash value of the stack to be analyzed according to the stack information of the stack to be analyzed; performing hierarchical clustering on the stack to be analyzed according to the hash value of the stack to be analyzed; and analyzing the same type of stack to be analyzed after clustering to determine a crash analysis result of the same type of stack to be analyzed. In this way, the hierarchical clustering of the stack to be analyzed is performed by using the hash value, which can effectively reduce the computational time overhead and improve the processing efficiency of the stack.
