Object detection model training device, training method and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium thereof

Abstract

This invention provides a training apparatus, a training method, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium for an object detection model. The apparatus uses a first teacher model to perform a first object detection on multiple training images to generate a first label information corresponding to each of the training images. The apparatus trains a student model based on these training images and the first label information. The apparatus uses a second teacher model to perform a second object detection on these training images to generate a second label information corresponding to each of the training images. The apparatus trains the student model based on these training images and the second label information, wherein the number of second object annotations corresponding to each of the training images in the second label information is not less than the number of first object annotations in the first label information.
