Power management apparatus and power management method

Abstract

Provided is a power management device including: a plan generation unit that generates a consumption plan for consuming an amount of power that can be supplied from a secondary power source over a predetermined period when power is supplied from the secondary power source to an elevator device and a water supply device due to an anomaly in a primary power source; a reference determination unit that determines a power consumption reference amount for a next unit time based on a difference between a planned consumption amount and an actual consumption amount each time the unit time elapses; a first limit setting unit that sets an upper limit on a water supply flow rate for the water supply device so that a consumed power amount of the water supply device for the next unit time becomes equal to or less than the determined power consumption reference amount; and a second limit setting unit that changes a setting of a maximum running speed downward in a case where a total of a maximum consumed power of the elevator device and the water supply device that is expected if the running request is executed exceeds a maximum output power of the secondary power source each time a running request is generated for the elevator device.
