Paint roller assembly

Abstract

A paint roller assembly is disclosed that allows for sufficient pressure to be applied to cause paint to be distributed evenly. The paint roller assembly includes a pair of frame portions. One frame portion includes a handle. A cylindrical roller core is attached to the other end of each frame portion. In one aspect, the pair of frame portions are coupled to one another at the first end by various different coupling mechanisms. When assembled, the central longitudinal axis of the handle is substantially parallel to the central longitudinal axis of the cylindrical roller core, thereby allowing a user to apply sufficient pressure during use to cause paint to be distributed more evenly.
