Specific primer pairs, identification products and methods for discriminating wild-type and vaccine strains of eimeria maxima

Abstract

This invention relates to a specific primer pair, identification product, and method for identifying wild-type and vaccine strains of *Eimeria gianti*. The specific primer pair includes an upstream primer as shown in SEQ ID No. 1 and a downstream primer as shown in SEQ ID No. 2. Using this specific primer pair to detect *Eimeria gianti* enables the identification of wild-type and vaccine strains, avoiding interference from other chicken coccidiosis pathogens during the detection process. It exhibits high specificity, simplicity, and high reproducibility. This specific primer pair is suitable for PCR detection, HRM detection, and microarray detection. The identification method established using this specific primer pair helps to accurately monitor wild-type virus infection in chicken flocks after live vaccine immunization, providing a reference for the prevention and control of chicken coccidiosis.
